This transfer takes you to Khao Sok village and to stays that you can reach by road; lake stays need a boat, which is arranged by the lodge.
About Khao Sok
Khao Sok National Park was announced as Thailand's 22nd national park on 22 December 1980 and covers about 739 km². It is a forest of limestone cliffs, rivers and waterfalls, home to the Rafflesia kerrii flower, called bua phut in Thai. Behind the Ratchaprapha Dam, also known as Cheow Lan Dam, lies Cheow Lan Lake with its limestone islands.
Visitors come for jungle walks, river trips and the lake. Most bungalow resorts are near Khao Sok village, on the road to the park entrance. Lake accommodation needs a boat, which your lodge arranges. Check the season and the weather before you go, since heavy rain can affect trails and boat trips.
